I’m hoping this post will send some warm vibes to all of you out there in the chilly temps this week! How beautiful is the Rucker family? You might recognize John from his senior session in Mount Dora a few months back. I was so excited when Jana contacted me about this shoot because I LOVE shooting at the beach and don’t get to do so very often. It turned out to be a gorgeous evening and we had a wonderful time strolling the beach and enjoying our time together. Thank you Rucker Family!

I don’t think I saw little Harper’s eyes the entire time we were taking her photos. She let me pose her any way I wanted and even gave be a few little sleepy smiles. Basically she was a newborn photographer’s dream! I was able to try out a few new blankets and props with sweet Harper and I just love how her photos turned out.

Carrie Lee’s portrait session was just magical. It’s not often I get to shoot subjects that can take direction and it is so nice to be able to slow down, take my time and be really deliberate about my shots as opposed to trying to push smiles out of a cranky toddler! The evening was gorgeous and we were able to try our a some new fun locations as well!

You might recognize sweet Lillie from her 8 month session in Mount Dora from a while back. I can’t believe she is already one! And what a beautiful little one year old she is! Her birthday fit in perfectly with wild flower season here in Florida and we took advantage of that and had her session in a beautiful wild flower field. She was so sweet and happy the entire time and such a little joy to photograph. Thank you Lauren for sharing your little sweetie with me again!
